I quit working outside the home because we moved to a new city. I found out I was pregnant 30 days after our move. I can honestly say, I NEVER thought I would stay at home. I was a career girl with a very successful business. But on the other hand, I worked 60-70 hours a week. There's no way I could raise a family or at least do it well. Our little one is 3 months old now. I can't imagine life any other way. People that know me, including my husband and myself, are still amazed that I'm a SAHM. Life in the fast lane was fun but my new job has different and better rewards. Sometimes its hard because I do miss working, the interaction with people, climbing the ladder, seeing my name in lights, etc. But I have found other ways of meeting people which has become easier in a new city with a baby. Mommy groups, MOPS, playdates, etc have been a wonderful way to connect with others. I think this is a good blog post for me. I'm gonna have to copy this and transfer it to my blog. :)

Thanks for the support! Yeah, it's only been a week or so now, but I finally feel just a little more in control of things again. :-) Tough being away from your son like that! I know the push-pull of being stressed around them and yet missing being away from them at the same time.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment. I work part time out of the home and the rest of the time I'm here with my son. Staying home with him all day, every day is often stressful but when I am on the road for work I miss him terribly!

I hope things work out for you and your family!

Returning the visit from SITS.

Cheers :-)
